'Home Alone' stars reunited
By BILL HARRIS - QMI Agency

Catherine O'Hara and Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone.

Catherine O'Hara and Macaulay Culkin were reunited this week for the first time since making the Home Alone movies.

"I went to a screening for Temple Grandin, and it was the first time I'd seen him since Home Alone 2. Macaulay Culkin was there," O'Hara told QMI Agency on Friday. O'Hara has a key role in Temple Grandin, an HBO movie starring Claire Danes, which airs Feb. 6 on HBO Canada.

"It made me want to cry, (Culkin) has just the sweetest face. The same face he had when he was 10 years old, and he said, 'I know, it's kind of a curse and a blessing.' "

O'Hara, of course, played Culkin's mother in the Home Alone flicks, now approaching 20 years ago.

"I said, 'Do you know how many people think you're my son?'" O'Hara said. "And he goes, 'Tell me about it!'

"And Kieran, his brother was there -- he played the little bed-wetting cousin in the first Home Alone -- and he comes up and hugs me, and goes, 'I'm sorry I'm hugging you, I just had to,' and I'm saying, 'Are you kidding? I love it.'

"They both look like 12-year-olds. Kieran says, 'I'm 27' -- 'You are not! How old is Macaulay?' 'He's 29.' 'Oh my God, he is not!'

"They're just the dearest young men."
