Jonathan Franzen's award-winning novel "The Corrections" is heading to the screen, under the direction of "Billy Elliot" director Stephen Daldry.
Variety reports that screenwriter David Hare ("Plenty," "Damage") is adapting Franzen's National Book Award winner, which traces three generations of a dysfunctional family as they converge for one last Christmas together.
