De Niro to direct spy film
By JAM! Movies
Robert De Niro is planning a return to work behind the camera, directing a new film.

Fox News reports De Niro is set to direct Jude Law in "The Good Shepherd," about the relationship between a young spy's relationship with an older spy. The latter role will be played by De Niro.

It would be De Niro's first directorial turn since 1993's "A Bronx Tale." But before he can turn his attention to that project, De Niro must first fulfill his obligation to two sequels.

First up is "Analyze That," the sequel to his 1999 comedy "Analyze This." After that, De Niro is to re-team with Ben Stiller for "Meet The Fockers," the sequel to 2000's "Meet The Parents."
