De Palma to direct Iraq war film

Director Brian De Palma's ("The Black Dahlia," "Scarface") next project, "Redacted", will focus on the Iraq War.
Variety.com reports that the film, which being financed through Mark Cuban's HDNet Films, is a collection of stories about U.S. soldiers, with an emphasis on the forms of media covering the war.
The film is set to start production this spring.
