Jonathan Demme, director of the Oscar-winning "Silence Of The Lambs" and "Philadelphia," is in talks to direct Denzel Washington in the remake of the classic film "The Machurian Candidate," says Variety.
The original 1962 film starred Frank Sinatra, under the direction of John Frankenheimer.
