Depp to team up with wife
By
Johnny Depp will co-star with his wife Vanessa Paradis in an adaptation of Harry Crews' 1974 novel "The Gypsy's Curse," Ananova.com reports.

The film tells the story of a disabled man who falls under the spell of Paradis' dangerous temptress and is warned of his fate by a gypsy, played by Depp.

The small-budgeted thriller will mark the directing debut of French event designer and choreographer Philippe Decouffle.

Depp had said just a few months ago that he was unlikely ever to work with his wife, adding: "I like keeping things separate - she does her work, I do mine."

The actor is currently shooting "The Libertine," Laurence Dunmore's portrait of the notoriously hedonistic 17th-century poet, the Earl of Rochester.
