What happens in Vegas often stays in Vegas, but not so for Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher.
Variety.com reports that both actors are close to signing on for the romantic comedy "What Happens in Vegas."
Directed by "Entourage" scribe Julian Farino, the film would have Diaz and Kutcher playing a pair of strangers who awaken from a night of debauchery to discover that they've not only married one another, but that they've won a huge jackpot.
In the process of trying to con each other out of the winnings, the pair fall in love.
Diaz stars in this weekend's eagerly anticipated "Shrek the Third," while Kutcher has been busy promoting the upcoming ABC series "Miss/Guided," on which he serves as an executive producer.
The film is slated for a release early in the new year.
