It seems Hollywood star Cameron Diaz has a big-time attraction to singers.

The New York Post is reporting Diaz and guitar hero John Mayer were spotted having an intimate dinner in a downtown New York eatery on Tuesday.

"They were very playful and cozy," said a fellow patron, who reports they ordered cocktails and "lingered over dessert."

Diaz split with her longtime boyfriend Justin Timberlake late last year, while Mayer recently broke up with Jessica Simpson.
