Actor Vin Diesel may soon be back in the driver's seat of the "Fast and the Furious" franchise, reports the Chicago Sun-Times.
Co-star Paul Walker confirmed earlier this month that Diesel is meeting with producers to discuss a possible return for a third installment in the action series.
"Nothing's definite -- you know how this town works," said Walker. "But the sequel did really well ... so I think we'll go back and do a third one, and we're hoping Vin will be on board. It will be great -- me, Tyrese and Vin."
Diesel starred in the original movie in 2001. He pulled out of this year's "2 Fast 2 Furious," which ended up earning $127 million US at the box office.
