Paltrow is currently in London working on Neil LaBute's latest film, Possession.
Her co-star is Aaron Eckhart, LaBute's lucky charm.
The two worked together on In the Company of Men, Your Friends & Neighbors and Nurse Betty.
"Neil sent me the script for Nurse Betty and told me to choose my role. That's the kind of working relationship we have," says Eckhart, who chose to play Renee Zellweger's womanizing, thieving husband.
"I got to get scalped by Chris Rock. I took the role for all those women who probably wanted to do that to me after In the Company of Men and Your Friends & Neighbors."
Eckhart, who played Julia Robert's motorcyclist boyfriend in Erin Brockovich, says Hollywood's highest-paid actress is anything but a diva.
"I admit I had preconceptions about what it would be like to work with Julia. You just assume people will abuse power, but not her.
"Julia made a happy camp for everyone connected with that film. She was generous and outgoing with everyone.
"She didn't play the star for a second."
