Aaron Eckhart eyes Woo's sci-fi flick
By LOUIS B. HOBSON
Based on a Philip K. Dick story, Paycheck follows the harrowing exploits of a man who agrees to have part of his memory erased. Eckhart says he can empathize with Paycheck's hero, who his character persuades to undergo the unorthodox procedure. "I think I made a movie called Possession with Gwyneth Paltrow, but nobody seems to have seen it so maybe I only imagined it. "The studio dumped our little film. It really hurts because we put our hearts into making a good little movie." Eckhart has finished shooting with Carrie-Anne Moss and Ben Kingsley in the suspense thriller Suspect Zero, about a serial killer who assassinates other serial killers on the FBI's most-wanted list. "I got to run around pointing a gun at everyone, and I got to hang out with Sir Ben, as he likes to be called." Before he gets onto the set of Paycheck in Vancouver in April, Eckhart has to finish work on Ron Howard's new western, The Missing. |
