Aaron Eckhart has signed on to star in "Bill," the brainchild of married couple Melisa Wallack and Bernie Goldmann, Variety reports.
The "In the Company of Men" star plays a man fed up with his job and marriage, who bottoms out when he catches his wife cheating. He finds redemption after reluctantly mentoring an unruly teen.
Screenwriter Wallack also co-wrote "The Dallas Buyers Club," with Brad Pitt set to star.
Eckhart can currently be seen in "Thank You for Smoking," directed by Jason Reitman, son of Canadian filmmaker Ivan Reitman, and is shooting the Scott Hicks-directed remake of "Mostly Martha" opposite Catherine Zeta-Jones.
