Jennifer Garner will star in the remake of the romantic comedy "Christmas in Connecticut."

Variety.com reports that a writer has yet to be assigned.

The original film follows a cooking writer who pretends she lives with her husband and child on a Connecticut farm, when she is really single and living in New York. In order to keep her secret, she must fake a Christmas dinner in Connecticut.

Garner's film "Catch and Release" is currently in theatres and her next movie, "Juno," will begin production later this month in Vancouver.
