HOLLYWOOD -- Heather Graham has the most chilling memory of the Sept. 11 attacks in New York.
Graham had been at the Toronto Film Festival the day before doing interviews for her new thriller From Hell and was headed home on the Tuesday.
"I was on the 8 a.m. flight from Toronto. We flew right by the World Trade Center. The guy in front of my friend and I pointed to this huge plume of smoke coming from the tower.
"I thought it was just an office fire, but my friend who is better informed said it looked like something much worse. She even said the word terrorism."
Graham's plane was among the last allowed to land in New York.
"Everyone in the airport was going crazy. We couldn't get into the city because all the bridges were closed. The next day we went in.
"Everything was so quiet. It was so surreal."
