Yes, DeGrassi's Lucy has grown up. A six-foot-tall drink of water, Anais Granofsky cheerfully refutes at the observation, joking that "my hair's a lot smaller now, so I may actually be the same height. This is the '80s we're talking about."
This is what's happened with Granofsky since Lucy signed off from TV's DeGrassi High. She's gone to NYU to study filmmaking, directed a feature called Have Mercy, and is debuting another -- the more ambitious On Their Knees (opening Friday), which she wrote, directed and stars in.
