Ed Harris and Woody Harrelson have signed on star in "3000 Degrees," Variety reports.
The film is an adaptation of the Sean Flynn book "3000 Degrees: The True Story of a Deadly Fire and the Men Who Fought It."
The film derives from an Esquire article that Flynn wrote based on the real-life story of a fire that claimed the lives of six firefighters in Worcester, Mass., in 1999.
Billy Crudup ("Big Fish") is also in negotiations to join the cast, which Danny Boyle ("28 Days Later") will direct.
Production on the film is scheduled to begin in May.
