Calgary is steadily becoming a Hollywood hotbed, as June will see Josh Hartnett and Samuel L. Jackson land in Cowtown to film "Resurrecting the Champ," Variety reports.
Directed by Rod Lurie ("The Contender"), the film will see Hartnett portray a reporter who mistakes a homeless man for a famous former boxer.
Hartnett, whose "Lucky Number Slevin" is set to release later this year, is wrapping up work on Brian De Palma's "Black Dahlia".
Jackson, meanwhile, just finished Craig Brewer's drama, "Black Snake Moan".
