Hopper taps into new indie film

Dennis Hopper has inked a deal to star in the indie film "Mem-o-re," Variety reports.

The story focuses on a retired doctor (Hopper) and the colleague of a medical expert who unlocks the genetically stored memories of a killer.

"Mem-o-re" will begin shooting in Vancouver in February.
