Jackson's all action
Jackie Brown star is happy to talk about his movies - just remember it's Samuel, not Sam

"George Lucas heard that I had gone on record as wanting to be in the first prequel.

"He called me up to ask if I was serious. When I told him I was, he said he'd write me a scene or two and he did."

Most of Jackson's screen time in the Star Wars prequel is spent with Yoda.

"I don't have any idea what the plot of the new film is. I only ever saw the pages for my scene. They told me they made a new Yoda puppet for this film but he looked the same to me."

Jackson's dream was realized in aces.

"I get to say 'May the force be with you' so I'm a happy man."

Jackson has already begun filming a drama called The Negotiator. He spends what little time he has off between films playing golf.

"I'm getting really good. I get invitations to play at some great courses."

When asked if he belongs to the same club as Will Smith, he guffaws loudly.

"Will belongs to the most elitist golf course in California. He's into status big time. I wouldn't pay the kind of yearly fees Will pays for his club in a lifetime of golf. I don't need that kind of status symbol to prove to people that I've made it."
