Hollywood -- playing Jules, the bible-thumping hit man in Pulp Fiction, has paid off in aces for Samuel L. Jackson.
Jackson's daughter Zoe is 16, so naturally, she's dating.
"All the guys who come to date her are freaked out by me. They think I am Jules so I don't have to lay down the law like most dads have to," admits Jackson.
Jackson and his wife LaTanya Richardson have been married for 27 years.
"My father abandoned us when I was just a child. I promised myself when we had Zoe that I'd be there for her no matter what."
Jackson is currently starring opposite Dustin Hoffman and Sharon Stone in the science fiction thriller Sphere.
"My first day on the set, I had to do a major dramatic scene with Dustin. It took me half the day to actually accept that I was acting with one of the most respected actors in the business."
Jackson is in Chicago filming the hostage drama The Negotiator with Kevin Spacey.
"I play a hostage negotiator who is accused of a crime he didn't commit, so he takes some hostages until he can prove his innocence."
When he completes The Negotiator, Jackson will begin work on Training Day, the story of a rookie cop's first day with the LAPD.
He will star in and produce this small independent film.
