Stellar seconds
By LOUIS B. HOBSON
Jackson, who will be reprising his role as Mace Windu in the second Star Wars prequel, still doesn't know exactly where he'll be filming. "I haven't seen a script yet, so I don't know if I'll be going to Tunisia, Italy or Australia, but George (Lucas) has assured me I'm going." While he's working on Star Wars, Jackson's newest screen alter ego, Shaft, will be hitting the big screen. Jackson confirms there was some tension on the set of Shaft with director John Singleton. "John has directed five movies. I've read I made 32 movies this past decade alone. Sometimes I didn't think he was calling the right shots and I let him know it. I call it collaboration. I'm pretty certain he wanted the best movie possible and I certainly did." Jackson is in Toronto filming the thriller Caveman Valentine for Danny DeVito's Jersey Films and has signed to star in Unbreakable, the story of a man with a rare disease that renders his bones extremely fragile. |
