Gone but not forgotten on the local movie scene are two films. The Caveman's Valentine with Samuel L. Jackson wrapped last week. And Sean Connery's Finding Forrester finished here and headed for New York to complete its business.
After a break, Jackson moves on to Philadelphia, where he starts work on M. Night Shamalayan's Sixth Sense follow-up called Unbreakable. The busiest man in the movie business will be in Australia by June to start George Lucas' second Star Wars prequel, playing Jedi Knight Mace Windu.
Jackson can't say much about his expanded Star Wars part. Unbreakable is another story.
"In Unbreakable, I'm a comic book store guy who has this interesting kind of disease," says Jackson. "When I bump into stuff, I break my bones."
Not exactly an invincible Jedi Knight, is he? "You could say that," he adds, smiling but not elaborating.
