Famke Jansson joins De Niro film
By JAM! Movies
The movie centers on a young girl who loses her mother at an early age and learns to cope with the death in an unusual and ultimately terrifying way. The film is currently shooting in New York under the direction of John Polson, known for the 2002 thriller "Swimfan" and his acting role in "Mission: Impossible 2." "Hide and Seek" will be the latest big-budget film on Janssen's resume, following her previous roles in "I Spy", "Don't Say a Word" and both "X-Men" blockbusters. Despite these hits, Janssen continues to seek out parts in lesser-known indie pics like crime-drama "Made," with Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn. Her latest will be in the upcoming "Eulogy," a dark comedy that follows the three generations of a dysfunctional family as they come together for the funeral of the clan patriarch. The film will hit theatres next year. |
