Funnyman Jamie Kennedy will return to the '80s to star in the comedy, "Kickin It Old Skool," Production Weekly reports.

The star of the TV series "The Jamie Kennedy Experiment" will play Justin, a pre-teen growing up in the mid-80s until a freak break dancing accident lands him in a coma. When he wakes up 20 years later, he must learn to deal with the changes.

Harvey Glazer will direct the film with shooting to begin in mid-January in Vancouver.

Kennedy's other film credits include the teen horror flick "Scream," "Son of the Mask" and "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle."
