Nicole Kidman is going undercover with writer Simon Kinberg, as the pair are teaming up to produce an as-yet untitled spy thriller.
Storyline details remain unclear, but the project is being compared to "The Bourne Identity" with a female twist.
The film presents Kidman and Kinberg an opportunity to finally collaborate, as their earlier attempt, Doug Liman's "Mr. & Mrs. Smith", was thwarted by Kidman's scheduling conflicts, subsequently opening the door for Angelina Jolie to play opposite Brad Pitt.
Kinberg, meanwhile, has blossomed into one of Hollywood's most sought after scribes. In addition to "Mr. & Mrs. Smith", which the screenwriter is developing for the small screen, Kinberg wrote the latest in the "X-Men" series with "X-Men: The Last Stand," and is writing and producing "Jumper," currently in the works.
