Eugene Levy has been named the host of the 2007 Canada's Walk of Fame ceremonies.
The 10th annual tribute gala will take place on Saturday, June 9, at the Hummingbird Centre in downtown Toronto.
CTV will tape the event, and then televise it at a later date that has yet to be determined.
Levy, who gained fame through SCTV and has gone on to a major film career in Hollywood, was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame last year, when former WWE wrestler Trish Stratus was the host.
"It's such an incredible honour to be hosting the show this year, considering I have absolutely no wrestling experience," Levy said in a release.
Eight new people will be inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame this year. Their names will be announced at a media conference next Tuesday.
