A bench warrant has been issued for Jason Mewes, one half of the on-screen comedy team Jay and Silent Bob, after he failed to attend court last month on an outstanding drug charge, The Smoking Gun website reports.
Mewes, 27, has appeared in Kevin Smith's films "Clerks," "Mallrats," "Chasing Amy," "Dogma", and "Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back," as the pot-smoking, foul-mouthed Jay.
