TORONTO -- Sam Neill told The Sun he got his big break in Phillip Noyce's 1989 thriller Dead Calm.
Countered Noyce, in town to represent two festival films, Rabbit-Proof Fence and The Quiet American: "I think he had a career before he met me. I think he's just laying it on 'cause I'm here," he joked.
