Ottawa native Sandra Oh has landed on People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful list. The 33-year-old actress is featured in the May 9 issue -- with new mom Julia Roberts on the cover -- hitting news stands next week.
Oh is pictured on a page also featuring Lost star Josh Holloway. In a short piece accompanying the article, she answers questions about beauty rituals and says her best feature is her hair.
"When I was young it had weird kinks and cowlicks in it, but I just grew into it," she says. "You grow into a lot of things."
Oh reveals she only washes her hair every four days, is addicted to her facial steamer and Korean exfoliating towel, and wished she flossed more.
"I try to put it into my regimen, but I'm not a very good flosser," she says.
She's pictured in a soft, fashionable floral top and large, chunky jewelry. Oh, however, says her everyday look is more retro-funky.
"Flip-flops and my new leg warmers and a really comfortable skirt," she says. "I got the leg warmers at a vintage store in Toronto. I try to rock it."
The high-profile nod is another in what has been a big year for Oh. She had an attention-grabbing role in the critically acclaimed film Sideways and more recently a meaty part as a medical intern on the ABC drama Grey's Anatomy.
Oh starred in Canadian films Last Night and The Diary of Evelyn Lau, before dedicating her focus to Hollywood. People has singled Oh out more than once, interviewing her about acting and citing her awards-show fashion sense.
