HOLLYWOOD -- Team Jason is back!
That would be director Jason Reitman and actor Jason Bateman, who both made quite the little splash with Juno.
They're reuniting for Up in the Air, a DreamWorks comedy also starring one George Clooney as a corporate down-sizer who is consumed with racking up frequent-flyer miles.
Bateman plays his boss.
Things have been hectic for both Jasons since Juno.
Justine's brother has been working seemingly non-stop, starring opposite Will Smith in last summer's Hancock, directing a sitcom pilot, and set to arrive in theatres next month, along with Russell Crowe, Rachel McAdams, Ben Affleck, Robin Wright-Penn and recent Oscar nominee Viola Davis, in State of Play, a political thriller based on the 2003 BBC miniseries of the same name.
He also recently shot the comedy Couples Retreat, along with Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau, and will soon be joining Jennifer Aniston in the fertility comedy, Baster.
As for Ivan's kid, in addition to directing Up in the Air (maybe he could get Jason Mraz to do some of the songs), he's also been keeping occupied wearing his executive producer's hat.
He's overseeing production of Atom Egoyan's new thriller, Chloe, currently shooting in Toronto, starring Big Love's Amanda Seyfried, Julianne Moore and Liam Neeson, who's been made over as a big-time action star thanks to the surprise success of Taken.
