Funnyman Chris Rock will put on his producer's cap to help bring the comedy "Gilmores of Beverly Hills" to the big screen.
Rock, who can currently be seen in the comedy "The Longest Yard" and provides his voice to the animated feature "Madagascar," will also co-write and star as a limo driver in the film, Variety reports.
"Gilmores" will be produced under Adam Sandler's company Happy Madison.
Production is scheduled to begin in the fall.
