Oscars looking heavier than she did in her breakthrough movie Clueless, rumors abounded that she had jeopardized her chances of playing Batgirl in Batman & Robin."I've weighed basically the same since I was 17. I did not have to diet to keep my role," insists the 20-year-old actress.

Batman & Robin opens June 20. Silverstone expects it will still be in theatres on Aug. 15 when her own little movie, Excess Baggage, opens in limited release.

Silverstone produced this romantic road movie in which she stars as a wealthy teen kidnapped by car thief Benicio Del Toro.
