Will Smith is now confirmed for the starring role in the action film "Tonight, He Comes," Variety reports.
Directed by Jonathan Mostow, ("Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines") the flick will centre on a disillusioned and underappreciated superhero whose powers fade, leading him into a mid-life crisis.
The 37-year-old actor will also produce the film along with "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" producer Akiva Goldsman and "Collateral" director Michael Mann.
Production is scheduled to begin next summer.
Smith will next be seen in the drama "The Pursuit of Happyness" starring Thandie Newton ("Crash").
