HOLLYWOOD -- Wesley Snipes has found a successful franchise with Blade, his vampire hunter horror films.

Snipes recently completed filming Blade 2 and has already commissioned David Goyer, who wrote the first two films, to pen a third one.

Blade 2, which is scheduled for release next year, reprises Snipes' sidekick Kris Kristofferson, who was killed in the original.
