Wesley Snipes has inked a deal to star in the action film "Seven Seconds," Variety reports.

The film centres on a heist pro who accidentally steals a piece of Van Gogh artwork and must figure out how to save his partner, who is being held by the gangsters who are after the painting.

The movie is being directed by newcomer Simon Fellows.
