Jennifer Aniston and Meryl Streep have signed on to star in the adaptation of Kim Wozencraft's novel "Wanted," Variety reports.
The movie tells the story of a female cop (Aniston) who is framed for drug trafficking and is sent to jail. She shares a cell with an anti-war protester (Streep), and they both hatch a plan to escape.
There is no director attched to the film as yet.
Kim Wozencraft's book "Rush" was the basis for the 1991 Jason Patric-Jennifer Jason Leigh film of the same name.
