Quentin Tarantino is set to produce the action film "Hell Ride," MTV.com reports.

Tarantino's long-time collaborator Michael Madsen ("Kill Bill: Vol. 1 & 2") told MTV.com that the "Pulp Fiction" director will write and produce the film Madsen calls a "motorcycle picture."

The film will be "reminiscent of the '70s, those motorcycle pictures they made with Joe Namath; the really bad B-movie motorcycle movies," Madsen said. "We're gonna make it like that, but in modern times, with that kind of idea behind it. I think that's what makes it fun."

Actor Larry Bishop (Kill Bill: Vol. 2") will direct "Hell Ride" with filming to begin soon.
