Taylor-made style
Actress shifts from the freaky '70s to the uncomfortable '80s
By STEVE TILLEY

, said she was the opposite of her sexually liberated character.

"I was more like the preppie, conservative girl growing up in the '80s," she says.

"Drew and I laughed about it, because Drew said she was the full-on Madonna wanna-be, and she's much younger, too.

"I never actually attempted the bustier and rosary beads until I had to step foot on the set."

Taylor, who had her own short-lived Fox TV series, The Party Girl, has done guest appearances on the likes of Friends, where she played Phoebe's bald friend Bonnie.

"I think they realized they were in a little bit over their heads when they cast a girl with hair this long that they had to fit under a bald cap," Taylor says.

"I felt horrible for them, because it was probably a four-hour process. Plus, my head took on a little bit of an Alien Nation look.

"I didn't look like Demi Moore did in G.I. Jane, let's put it that way."

But being bald wasn't as scary for Taylor as kissing her on-screen stepbrother in A Very Brady Sequel.

The smooch got the pair nominated for the MTV best kiss award, but because Taylor and co-star Christopher Daniel Barnes had grown so close over the course of two movies, she says it really felt like kissing her own kin.

"Honestly, that kiss with Greg Brady was one of the most frightening moments of my life. It was very incestuous," Taylor says.

"He was a great kisser, but it was like, 'Oh my God, let's get this over with and get off the set.' "
