Dave Thomas' state of entertainment address

Today is the day Dave Thomas' new movie, Intern Academy, opens in theatres. Thomas wrote and directed the ensemble comedy about doctors-in-training at a second rate hospital, and he hand-picked a young Canadian cast that includes Lynda Boyd, Pat Kelly, Peter Oldring, Christine Chatelain, Viv Leacock, Carly Pope, Ingrid Kavelaars and Jane McLean -- along with such established stars as Dan Aykroyd, Dave Foley and Thomas himself.

The SCTV vet, 55, has a thing or two to say about the current state of entertainment, here and Stateside.
