Matt Dillon and Marisa Tomei have agreed to star in "Factotum," an adaptation of poet Charles Bukowski's novel.
Variety reports the film, directed by Norwegian helmer Bent Hamer ("Kitchen Stories"), will begin production in Minneapolis next month.
The story centres on a man who is determined to live life to the fullest, even if it means taking many jobs, loving many women and rejecting every part of the American dream.
Dillon and Tomei both appeared in 1984's "The Flamingo Kid."
