Chris Tucker is expected to sign a lucrative deal today for a third "Rush Hour" film, Variety reports.
Tucker will reportedly sign a two-picture, $40 million deal with New Line, which has been trying hard to lock up the actor for a third installment of the popular action-comedy.
Co-star Jackie Chan will snag close to $20 million, and director Brett Ratner $7.5 million.
"Rush Hour 3," which will cost around $100 million to make, will begin shooting in late fall for a scheduled 2006 release date.
Tucker's last on-screen appearance was in 2001's "Rush Hour 2."
