They're never short of ideas
Let the work speak, actor says
By BRUCE KIRKLAND

HOLLYWOOD -- The Wachowski Brothers, 37-year-old Larry and 35-year-old Andy, have it in their contracts that they do not have to do promotional interviews The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions, which they co-wrote and co-directed. So it is up to their actors to shed light on them. Today, it is Carrie-Anne Moss' turn:

Moss says The Brothers were always so convincing about their ideas for The Matrix sequels that she never hesitated in coming back for more, despite the physical challenges.

"I always trusted them and I hadn't even read the scripts when I signed on to do #2 and #3. No one had read them. But, if you knew them (the Wachowskis), you would say yes because they are such interesting, smart (people). They're so incredible that you just wanted to be part of it."

It helped that she loved her character Trinity, an empowered yet feminine woman who is a reflection of "the way they see women, I guess, who they are. I mean, I think Trinity is the greatest character I could ever play. I don't expect to ever play another woman that wonderful."
