When the Oscar nominations are announced on Jan. 23, it will come as no surprise if Peter O'Toole's name is on the ballot for best actor. His tour-de-force performance as Maurice, an aged but still lusty British theatre actor in Venus, has already garnered the 74-year-old screen veteran a Golden Globe nomination and a SAG nod.
