'Legally Blonde' sequel, TV series being talked up
By JAM! Movies

Reese Witherspoon's unexpected hit "Legally Blonde" has already inspired talk of a sequel and a possible spin-off TV series, according to the Zap2it.com TV news site.

The movie's producer, MGM, says "Blonde" could go on to earn over $50 million, which is welcome news after the studio made a meagre $18 million from the combined receipts for "What's The Worst That Could Happen" and "Josie And The Pussycats," the report said.

Zap2it.com said Witherspoon is interested in a sequel, but the biggest impediment will be her salary. The actress was paid $1 million for "Legally Blonde," but recent reports have seen her asking-fee skyrocketing to $5 million per picture.
