Witherspoon eyes 'Bunny Lake' remake
By JAM! Movies

Reese Witherspoon is developing and plans to star in a remake of Otto Preminger's 1965 film "Bunny Lake Is Missing," according to Variety.

The original movie starred Noel Coward and Laurence Olivier, and told the story of a young girl who is reported missing by her mother.

When the police find no trace that the girl ever existed, the mother's mental state is questioned.

The film will be produced by Witherspoon's production company Type A Films.

Witherspoon recently completed work on the film "Vanity Fair" and will play June Carter in the upcoming Johnny Cash biopic, "Walk The Line."
