Reese Witherspoon's next project will have her in dual roles as star and producer of the romantic comedy "Sports Widow," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Witherspoon plays a woman who has lost her husband to his love of TV sports, specifically football. Her character becomes an expert in football to beat her husband at his own game.

Her other upcoming projects include "Vanity Fair" with Bob Hoskins, "Walk the Line" with Joaquin Phoenix and the thriller "Whiteout."
