Reese Witherspoon has inked a deal to produce and star in the romantic comedy "Manhattan Baby," according to Variety.

Witherspoon will play a single woman who runs a successful business overseeing groups for mothers and their children.

The film was penned by Anya Kochoff, who is best known for writing "Monster-in-Law," which stars Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda.
