"Walk the Line" actress Reese Witherspoon has filed a lawsuit against a U.S. tabloid magazine that printed a story claiming she was pregnant.
According to a BBC news report, the 30-year-old Oscar winner is suing Star magazine's parent company American Media, stating that she is not expecting her third child and the publication's claim has damaged her reputation.
The June 26 issue of the magazine features a story about Witherspoon's reluctance to reveal her pregnancy by hiding under baggy clothing and 1920s-style bathing suits.
The story also claims that the actress didn't want to tell producers of her upcoming films that she was expecting a child.
Witherspoon has two children, Ava, 6, and two-year-old son Deacon with Ryan Phillippe, husband of seven years.
