"Mission: Impossible 2" director John Woo is bringing Tom Clancy's "Rainbow Six" to the big screen, Variety reports.
The story centres on CIA agent John Clark, who decides to leave the agency to form an multinational organization that is focused on fighting terrorism.
Other Clancy novels that have hit theatres include "The Hunt for Red October," "Patriot Games," "Clear and Present Danger" and "The Sum Of All Fears."
Woo recently helmed "Paycheck," starring Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman, and is currently in negotiations to direct "Spy Hunter," an action-adventure movie.
