Zhang Yimou's masterful film Hero brought Jet Li and Donnie Yen together for the first time in a decade. For martial arts fans, that is history in the making.
In Hero -- which was made and released in China in 2002 but is only now opening in theatres in North America -- Li and Yen battle with sword and spear in a beautiful sequence staged in a tea house. It is shot in both black-and-white and colour with slow motion elements and traditional music turning the spectacle into a work of art.
